    The Purple Ghost Scorpion is a newish cross originating in Guam. It is the crossing of a Purple Ghost and the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T. An unusual thing about this chilli is that while the outside ripens to a deep red, the inside quite often remains a vibrant purple! We know of no other chilli that does this. It tastes quite fruity with no bitterness. The heat is about the same as a Ghost so it’s very hot! While not quite stable yet, we love it and will grow it again!

  • Tepin x Lemon Drop

    A little tear drop shaped treasure to behold. This one is a curious cross between a Tepin and Aji Lemon Drop. We think this one is now 6th generation so pretty close to being stable. Another super prolific variety that we just love the flavour of. Would make a beautiful chutney or jam given its sweet thick walled flesh. Oh and for you lazy gardeners its super easy maintenance so long as you keep it hydrated. Plant is relatively compact and grows to around 60cms tall.

    Big, gnarly and mega hot the Weapon X is a cross from Western Australian grower Graeme Chaplin (Chappy). All that is known is that one of the parents are thought to be a Trinidad Scorpion Butch T. Interestingly the ones we grew in pots only grew to about 60cm tall and the pods were around 6cm x 4 cm. Good on you ‘Chappy’ this one is a ripper and quite sweet for a superhot. It’s stability is unknown so have a go and see what you get.

What this hybrid is created from is not known, however we do know, it will take your breath away. This is the F6 generation, so it is worth growing. General Information: Each huge pepper grows over 1 ft. Thick walls give a great crunch, and it’s very sweet, too. Great eaten fresh, fried or stuffed. This is soon to be your favorite pepper.
